SWsoft becomes Parallels!

SWsoft, the organisation behind Parallels, Virtuozzo, OpenVZ and Plesk has now officially changed its company name to Parallels and has a new company website, www.parallels.com, togethor with a redesigned company logo.

In addition to these important changes, Parallels has begun implementing a descriptive product naming strategy so that, for example, SWsoft PEM and HSPcomplete are now called Parallels System Automation and Parallels Business Automation. A list of product names is available at www.parallels.com/about/optimizedcomputing/naming.

These changes are part of the company's new Optimized Computing initiative which brings together desktop and server virtualization plus system and business automation in conjunction with a rapidly-expanding ecosystem of partner solutions for use in on-premise, hosted and software-as-a-service (SaaS) usage models.
